Athletics Reflection 3/11/2020

Yesterday we had our school athletics I competed in 100 meter run the 200 meter run shot put,high jump,long jump and the house team relays.

The most Challenging field event that I competed in would most probably be high jump it was hard to get over the bar but I tried my best and gave it a go.

The field event that I enjoyed the most was shot put and the 200 meter run!

Week 3 Term 4 Lifting prints

Today we lifted our prints with Mrs Kennedy this is how mine turned out and the steps that go with it.

Step 1: first we had to grease our thumbs by stroking it down your hair.

Step 2:then you lightly press your finger onto the window then brush it with powder.

Step 3: after that you put t

ape over the top and press in the middle of the tape were the print is.

Step 4:

take it off then put it onto a black piece of paper.

 This week we have been looking at our finger prints in our rotation groups with Mrs Kennedy we used ink to do our finger prints. after we done all that we had to roll our fingers onto this sheet of paper then put the names of the type of the finger print this is how mine turned out.

Term 2 Reflection 2020

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the math mystery because it had hard questions that tested me throughout my learning.

Something that has challenged me this term has been my TT RockStars, trying to get as many questions done in one minute on the studio games.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the egg carton challenge because it was a creative challenge and it was just a fun activity to do.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was Fitness because I like to keep active for the day.

An aim I have for my learning is to be able to halve bigger odd numbers in my head for my Number of the Day.

Egg Carton Creation 2020

Today I made a beach using Egg Carton's green feathers a bit of straw's and some thin colored paper.

It was a bit hard cutting all the egg cartons out for the palm tree and painting the tree because I wanted to get all the empty spaces.

I'm so lucky for showing up to school today to do such a fun Activity Today at school.

Next time I would try to add more detail to my work.

Tennis ball Tower Challenge week 8 2020

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws, and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Katelyn and Olivia

At first, we had trouble with rolling the Newspaper to make It fit size for the tower base.

The easiest thing was the Taping the Tower together to make the Tower a bit bigger.

The best part of our tower was The seat for the ball because the Tennis ball had enough room and space to roll around but not fall off.

Our tower looked not the best but it still looked like a Tower.

In the end, it broke and it came apart so we didn't get a photo of it.

Catapult challenge 2020

Whetu Catapult Challenge

The things that I used to make my catapult were: sticks, rubber bands, and a spoon.

To make my catapult I worked with Jai and Emily.

The most challenging part was the tieing the rubber bands to attach the sticks to make it stand up.

Overall I think that it was fun and I would personally do it again!!

Week 1 Reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week Meeting my friends once again after 7 weeks in lockdown.

What was I nervous about this week was when we went downtown and people were filming us as they went past in their car.

For dress-up day I dressed up as cowgirl because we had most of the stuff that we needed to complete the outfit.

The funniest thing That has happened this week is seeing Mr. Kyle in a girl outfit with a wig on it was
so funny.

I think the best-dressed person was Haven Because her outfit popped and the colors were very bright and with a lot of pink.

ANZAC Wreath Term 2 2020

This is my ANZAC Wreath we used cardboard paint and spray paint and string due to having no glue 

My mum and Rosie helped me make my Wreath it was hard at first but we managed although mum did most of it

But overall it was fun and working together made the job done

Chapter Challenge week T1 2020

This is my chapter challenge for week 8 I did the Fake text Messages the two charters I choose was Ma and Sal I also did it by myself  I choose Digital Design. At first, It was hard to think of words and then I got used to it.

Chapter Challenge week 5 Term 1 2020

This week Me and Carmen Worked together and created a letter from our Chapter Challenge book the Mapmakers race.

It was a letter from Ma to her children from far away.

The most challenging part was ripping the paper because we keep ripping the words.

The most exciting part was making it brown by using a teabag.

First Chapter Challenge 2020

This week me and Sophia have been working on our Chapter Challenge.

 We made a train and a movable car. 

The most challenging part was the train because we had to get the right shades of color to color the train.

 Really Proud of how all our hard work turned out with all the detail and color. 

The part that turned out the best was the car cause  it actually turned out to be a movable car

Chrysler visual Pepeha

Over the last week, I have been working on my visual pepeha. It was hard at first then when I got into it started getting better.


I am proud of how it turned out at the end with all the detail and color.


What I found challenging was cutting the pictures to make them all fit.


I worked with Emily, Mum, and my little brother to create my whanau star.

First Blog Post

The activity I have enjoyed the most this week is the water activities because I loved how the water Splashed on top of me!


A goal I have for myself this year is trying my best to get either a certificate or a badge in assembly.


Someone who has helped me so far is Maitearoha she help me with ideas to write for my blog post.
